Compact, cloud-enabled fine dust monitor for outdoor air
The Palas® AQ Guard Smart 1000 is a compact, cloud-enabled air quality monitor designed for outdoor measurement in the smart city environment. It improves the granularity of monitoring networks while keeping high comparability with official measurements for environmental monitoring and health protection.
It works on 90-degree scattered light measurement on single particles, based on the EN 16450-certified Fidas® 200 technology. A heated inlet inside the housing switches on automatically depending on humidity and temperature, and temperature, humidity and pressure sensors are fitted as standard. The AQ Guard Smart 1000 has Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, supports ASCII and Modbus, and records all data continuously for real-time and retrospective retrieval. It is MCERTS certified (Sira MC 220412/01).
