Indicative air quality monitor for particulates and traffic gases
The Palas® ECoB (Environmentally Connected Box) is a compact indicative air quality monitor for particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10) and the traffic-related gases CO, NO2, SO2 and O3, with temperature and humidity sensors. It is manufactured by Palas in cooperation with Bosch and housed in a robust, weather-resistant enclosure.
The ECoB provides local emission data in real time and is designed for smart city, traffic and construction site monitoring, while keeping high comparability with official environmental measuring devices. Air quality data is determined directly on the device without post-processing. Data can be viewed and managed in Palas MyAtmosphere, and with Bosch Cloud Services (separate contract) it supports data validation, traffic emission modelling and dispersion simulation to highlight pollution hotspots.
